I generally spend my free time on a number of personal projects. I wish I could afford more time as I have enough work to last a couple of years. Anyway, here are a few of my research and personal projects:

Deal Red Hot or Not! is an online community for sharing deals and savings. It is developed using Ruby on Rails.
Deal Red Hot or Not! is now also available as a Facebook application. It is developed using Ruby on Rails and Facebooker.
This website manages lottery numbers and provides real time information on world wide lottery drawings.
This offers lottery application as an Facebook application.
This website offers world clock, calendar, etc. It is developed using Ruby on Rails and ICU4C.
PlexObject Solutions provides Java based ORB for developing high
performance distributed applications. Major features of Java based ORB includes:
- Java RMI/CORBA like remote method invocation
- Factories for creating remote objects
- Mobile framework for moving objects. Support for agent based objects
- Activation facility for recreating objects after the server is restarted
- Security
JavaNOW (Java for Network of Workstations) is a framework for developing
high performance applications on loosely connected machines. JavaNOW allows an application
to use loosely connected workstations as if there is a single virtual machine with lots of
processors and logical shared memory. Major features of JavaNOW includes:
- Java based Parallel Virtual Machine
- Linda based logically assocative shared memory
- Load balancing
- Security
An open source library in Erlang to access Amazon's SimpleDB.

- Fault tolerance based on Erlang/OTP
- Generates automated Unit Tests along with mocks for all external services.
- Generates automated Integration Tests.
- Generates automated Acceptance Tests.
- Records all data about public method invocation, which is used
for regression testing.
- Draws UML diagrams such as Sequence Diagrams for all top-level methods
- Integrates with various coverage and quality metrices such as cobertura,
PMD, CheckStyle, Lint, FindBugs, JDepend, etc.
